Monday 29th October 2018 - 11:15 to 13:15The first overnight frost for a long time had melted by the time I went round the park. It was pleasant in the sunshine if you could get out of the chilling wind. The geeseand gulls are coming back to the lake - along with a Grey Heron. It was good to see some small birds again, including: Goldcrest; Siskin; Goldfinch and House Sparrow. A long scrutiny of some yew trees finally revealed Redwings and a Song Thrush. A full list of the birds seen is given in the Bird Table.
