Next Meeting on Tuesday, 9th December 2025 Dr. Janet Pennington will give us a talk with the title “On Your Feet: Boots and Shoes in History” This should be fun. Janet promised to show us her favourite pairs and has asked us to perhaps bring along some boots or shoes which are special to us. You might have danced all night, scaled the Andes (or South Downs) or just possess an extraordinary example. There will also be seasonal refreshments for all to enjoy. All meetings take place in the Montefiore Room at Ridley’s Court on the second Tuesday of each month, August excepted. Start at 2 pm, ending at 4 pm. We have a break in the middle for tea or coffee and biscuits. O Membership fee for a year is £18.50 for single members and £35.00 for couples. Payment by cheque or cash only. The membership year runs from 1st January to 31st December. For members joining form September onwards the membership will be reduced for the remainder of the year. Guests pay £ 5.00 at a meeting.
