Sunday 30-01-2022 - 10:30 to 11:30 RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch in Worth Park There had been a frost overnight but it was a bright sunny morning. 18 people enjoyed the walk and helped to spot and count the birds according to the RSPB rules. We did not see anything unusual. A Cormorant was in the trees on the main island and the solitary juvenile Swan was still on the lake. Two Egyptian Geese and one Great Crested Grebe were present. With difficulty we estimated that there were some 50 Black-headed Gulls, 43 Canada Geese and 14 Mallard. In total we saw 22 species of birds. A full list and count of the birds seen is given in the Bird Table .
