Wednesday 09-02-2022 - 10:30 to 12:00 It was a sunny mild morning. Early signs of spring were showing: snowdrops in flower; daffodils just appearing and catkins on the hazel bushes. One Egyptian Goose was snoozing on an island. But I could not see another one or a nest. Let us hope that they are nesting. There were two Great Crested Grebes but no sign that they were paired. A Cormorant flew in and fished. A full list and count of the birds seen is given in the Bird Table .
