The weather was grey and threatening with light drizzle.
There were babies everywhere. The Canada Geese had four family groups with 8, 6,
4 and 2 goslings of different sizes. Some were very small. There were three Coot
families with 3, 2 and 1 chicks. There were 2 Moorhen chicks and two groups of 3
and 2 Mallard ducklings. The 2 Egyptian goslings are now almost indistinguishable
from their parents.
We could hear young birds calling in the bushes; but we could not see them.
