Long-tailed Tit, Photo: Ingrid Payne
A bright sunny day if a little chilly to start with.
A pair of
Mallard
have three small ducklings.
Two adult
Egyptian Geese
were together but there is no sign of goslings.
A
Cormorant
was fishing in the lake before drying in a tree on the island.
We found a
Goldcrest
near the entrance to the park and another over the far side of
the lake.
A small flock of
Long-tailed Tits
were a treat.
We heard a
Great Spotted Woodpecker
drumming in the distance.
A full list of the birds seen is given in the
Bird Table
.
